Grainy 화면은 왼쪽 보관함, 가운데 사진, 오른쪽 보정 패널로 나뉩니다. 번호를 눌러 각 부분이 무엇을 하는지 알아보세요.Grainy has your library on the left, the photo in the middle and the edit panels on the right. Click the numbers to see what each part does.

네거티브를 사진으로Turn a negative into a photo

평판 스캐너로 스캔한 컬러 네거티브입니다. Grainy는 필름 베이스(주황색)를 채널마다 빼고, 농도를 빛으로 되돌립니다. 아래 계산은 Grainy와 같습니다.A colour negative from a flatbed scanner. Grainy takes the orange film base out channel by channel and turns density back into light — the page below does the same maths as Grainy.

필름 농도는 밝기, 필름 대비는 밝고 어두운 차이입니다. 슬라이더 이름을 두 번 누르면 처음 값으로 돌아갑니다.Film density is brightness, film contrast the spread between light and dark. Double-click a slider's name to reset it.

한 롤을 한꺼번에. 같은 설정으로 스캔한 한 롤은 사진 작업 메뉴의 네거티브 반전 · 한 롤로 맞춤으로 모든 컷의 색 기준을 같게 맞춥니다.A whole roll at once. Frames scanned with the same settings can be converted together (Photo Workflow › Invert negatives as one roll), so every frame gets the same colours.

노출과 색 맞추기Fix exposure and colour

레슨 2에서 반전한 사진입니다. 하늘이 하얗게 날아가고 전체가 푸르게 틀어져 있습니다. 자동 버튼으로 먼저 잡고, 스포이드와 슬라이더로 다듬어 보세요.The photo from lesson 2: the sky is blown out and everything leans blue. Let the Auto buttons start, then refine with the eyedropper and sliders.

  4. \ 키나 원본 비교로 전후 비교하기Compare before and after with \ or Before / after
자동 색은 밝기마다 따로 맞춥니다. 어두운 곳·중간·밝은 곳의 색 틀어짐을 각각 재서 되돌리기 때문에, 필름 스캔처럼 밝기에 따라 색이 다르게 틀어진 사진에 잘 맞습니다.Auto colour works per brightness. It measures shadows, midtones and highlights separately, which suits film scans whose cast changes with brightness.

필름 룩 입히기Try film looks

Grainy의 필름 룩 82종은 각 제조사가 공개한 기술 자료로 필름의 노출·현상·인화를 계산합니다. 아래 이미지는 Grainy가 실제로 계산한 결과입니다.Grainy's 82 film looks compute exposure, development and printing from each maker's published technical data. The images below are what Grainy itself renders.

  1. 컬러 네거티브 필름 하나 고르기Choose a colour negative film
  2. 슬라이드 필름(벨비아·코다크롬 등) 고르기Choose a slide film (Velvia, Kodachrome…)
  3. 흑백 필름 고르기Choose a black-and-white film
  4. 필름 강도를 절반쯤으로 줄여 보기Bring Film amount down to about half
RAW에 기본값 그대로 적용하세요. 노출과 화이트 밸런스만 맞춘 RAW 사진에 가장 잘 맞습니다. 대비·커브는 필름 다음에 더해지고, 자동 색은 필름 색을 지워 버리니 함께 쓰지 마세요. Grainy에서는 오른쪽 필름 패널과 왼쪽 프리셋의 회사별 폴더에 있습니다.Use it on RAW with default settings. It suits a RAW photo with only exposure and white balance set. Contrast and curves are added after the film, and Auto colour would undo its colour. In Grainy: the Film panel on the right, or the maker folders under Presets on the left.

부분 보정: 하늘과 브러시Local edits: sky and brush

마스크를 쓰면 사진의 일부만 보정할 수 있습니다. 하늘 선택은 하늘을 자동으로 찾고, 브러시로는 원하는 곳을 직접 칠합니다. 하늘 마스크는 Grainy가 계산한 결과입니다.Masks edit part of a photo. Select Sky finds the sky for you, the Brush paints where you want. The sky mask here is the one Grainy computes.

  1. 하늘 선택 누르기 (빨간 부분이 선택 영역)Press Select Sky (red shows the selection)
  2. 하늘 노출을 내려 구름 살리기Lower the sky's exposure to bring out the clouds
  3. 브러시로 가운데 섬을 칠하고 밝게 하기Paint the island with the Brush and brighten it
  4. O로 마스크 표시 끄고 결과 보기Hide the mask with O and look at the result
더하고, 빼고, 겹치기. Grainy의 마스크는 하늘·브러시·선형·방사형·색상 범위·광도 범위를 더하거나 빼거나 겹쳐서 만들 수 있습니다. 브러시는 어두운 곳·중간·밝은 곳만 칠하도록 제한할 수도 있습니다.Add, subtract, intersect. Grainy's masks combine sky, brush, linear and radial gradients, colour and luminance ranges. A brush can also be limited to shadows, midtones or highlights.

고르고 내보내기Pick the keepers, then export

한 롤을 훑어보며 별점과 표시를 붙이면, 좋은 컷만 골라 내보낼 수 있습니다. 사진을 누르고 키를 눌러 보세요.Go through a roll giving stars and flags, and you can export just the keepers. Click a photo and press keys.
